As per report Desktop and MAC will have end-to-end encryption for user data security. Currently WhatsApp desktop support only one-to-one voice and video call. It will not support the group call. Group video and voice calling is currently testing phase.

Video and voice calling feature WhatsApp was testing from last few months. Today WhatsApp role out the video and voice calling feature for Desktop and MAC users. For using this feature you must have a valid WhatsApp account.
