Hike messenger was founded by Kavin Bharti Mittal. Hike was an Indian freeware, cross platform instant messaging and voice over IP application which was launched on 12 December 2012. Hike can even work offline through SMS has multi-Platform support.
Hike Sticker Chat which was owned by Bharti Enterprises has shut down and permanently removed from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. This news is given by the Founder and CEO Kavin Bharti Mittal herself on twitter on January 6th.
Kavin Bharti Mittal wrote on twitter -
“Today we’re announcing that we will be sunsetting StickerChat in Jan,21. We thank you all for giving us your trust. We wouldn’t be here without you,”
No one knows the exact reason why Hike is Shut down . The users of Hike Messenger can get their conversations and data downloaded from the app HikeMoji will continue to be available in two of its new apps - Vibe and Rush. Vibe is the new name of Hikeland and Rush includes byte-sized games like Ludo and Carrom.
Vibe will be an approval-only community that means users have to apply to join. Mittal says that over 100,000 people have already applied for Vibe. Hikeland now known as Vibe, had over 300,000 conversations last month. Rush includes a series of games and the company promises to includes more games in the future and Rush by Hike will be available for IOS users on Apple's app store
