Here are the steps which shows what to do when your Whatsapp Web is not working.
1. You may have a phone connection problem due to which WhatsApp web may not work on your computer. To fix this, make sure that always having a active and fast Internet connection phone.
2. You may also have a computer connection problem. If you see a yellow banner above your chat list with the error message "Computer not connected", make sure your computer's Internet connection should be active. It is not only your phone that needs to have an active and stable connection, but also your computer needs it.
3. Lastly, you may also have a Wi-Fi problem while using WhatsApp web. If WhatsApp Web version notifies you that you are on a Wi-Fi network, which is preventing WhatsApp Web from operating properly, please make sure your network is is set-up to bypass traffic to these :

As we mentioned above it has been five years since the start of WhatsApp web and it works perfectly on computer if you want to do basic tasks like chatting or sending media etc. However, looking at the features available on WhatsApp on Android and iOS, it would be really cool if some of those features (if not all) are integrated into the WhatsApp Web online.
