As we all know that FASTag helps drivers to pay cash instantly at toll plazas without waiting in a queue. They can do this by paying money directly from the bank. The FASTag has teamed up with over 20 banks to facilitate the same.

This came into trend when the Union transport minister Nitin Gadkari announced that all vehicles in India should have FASTags from January 1, 2021 onwards. Its a government's effort to enable seamless movement of traffic throughout the toll plazas all over the country.

In case you wish to deactivate your Paytm FASTag Account then here are the steps to do so ...

1. Open the Paytm website or the paytm app on your smartphone.

2. Login in to your account with the mobile number you used while creating the FASTag account.

3. Go to the passbook option. You will see the main Paytm wallet and the other wallets section that will have the wallet for FASTag.

4. Go to the Paytm FASTag wallet from here.

5. Click on 'Manage FASTag'.

6. Here, you will see all FASTag accounts linked to your mobile number.

7. Select the desired FASTag account

8. Deactivate the account .
