Carl Pei along with Pete Lau founded OnePlus and grew to 36 countries in the world. As we all know OnePlus is well known for its Mobile Phones and Television manufacturing.

Carl Pei was the man behind the OnePlus' marketing and product positioning. But, Carl will not be a part of OnePlus anymore. Pei had left OnePlus in October 2020 and launched his much-awaited new consumer tech company and it’s called ‘Nothing’.

The Recently formed consumer tech company "NOTHING" a startup by One Plus Co-founder Carl Pei announced that it has raised $15 million in a Series A round led by GV (formerly Google Ventures). Carl says they will be using the fund in expanding their team and investment in Research and Development Department.

Now, Carl has confirmed Bloomberg that one of the first products to be released by Nothing will be wireless earbuds.

“We’re building an ecosystem of smart devices, we will start with simpler products, wireless earbuds. We’re going to have multiple products throughout the year, not just audio products, and eventually, we want to build it so these devices talk to each other.” - Carl quoted
