Malwarebytes today shared it's Mac 2021 malware detection report. As per Malwarebytes the detection of malware threat on Macs have been dropped to 38% in 2020. The detail have been spotted on macrumors.com.
As per report data a total of 38% drop have been recorded in 2020 as compare to 20219. In this in 2020 the business count is 5257570 and consumer count is 70027857 which is total of 75285427. If we talk about 20219 the total count was 120855305.
As per Malwarebytes there is an 61% increase in the malware which includes backdoors, data stealers, and cryptocurrency stealers/miners. Malwarebytes also share the list of top 10 Mac malware.
