Internet Explorer web browser is a nostalgia moment for many user which replaced by the Edge which later renamed as Edge Legacy to compete with the new launch browsers like Firefox, Chrome and Safari. They was a time when Internet Explorer crushed it competitor browsers like then didn't even exist but time changes and because of on growing competition at that time Microsoft decided to shut down the Internet Explorer services and decided to replace it with Edge Legacy.
On Friday Microsoft announces that they are removing the Edge Legacy browsers from the system with there next Windows Security Update which going to be effective after April 13th, 2021.
They are replacing the Edge Legacy with a new version of Edge which was there in testing from April, 2019. Microsoft also added that for the users who already installed the new version of Edge they don't have to worry about anything but for the users who don't have the latest version they will get it with the same update.
Microsoft bringing this Edge version to regain the users trust and to make life of business users easy.
