According to a report from Barclays analysts Blayne Curtis and Thomas O'Malley Apple might be bringing a new ultra wide angle camera with a brighter f/1.8 lens to its all iPhone 13 models.
The previous report given by analysts Ming-Chi Kuo where it mentioned that this ultra wide angle camera will be only for Pro models but the current reports suggest this change is going to be available in all iPhone 13 models.
The main difference between the previous lens used and the new one is that the new f/1.8 lens will increase the light reaching to the sensor over the f/2.4 lens used on the previous iPhone models.
Apple also planning to increase the sensors size to 1/3.6" fades of the planned ultra wide angle camera which is higher as comparison to Galaxy S21 ultra's 1/2.55" and the Huawei Mate 40 Pro's mammoth 1/1.54".
The Barclays report also suggest that iPhone will continue using the 12MP f/2.2 65mm 2.5x camera for the iPhone 13 to Pro or Pro Max.
