After the Whatsapp's new Privacy Policy users are now opting for Telegram and Signal messaging apps to chat and communicate.In the New Whatsapp Privacy Policy Whatsapp has explicitly mentioned that they are free to share user's data with parent company Facebook and Instagram.
Due to these privacy issue User's are moving to Signal and Telegram like messaging apps.Also,one of the reason for movement of crowd to Signal App is "ELON MUSK". As The app downloads of Signal were likely fuelled by Elon Musk and whistle blower Edward Snowden’s endorse-ment on Twitter.
Downloads of Signal app have seen a sudden increase of 79% in India during the period of only 6 days. This is a data from app analytics firm Sensor Tower.
Telegram’s download ranking on Google Play, however, steadily rose over the past few days, it gained a marginal change in igs download from playstore in these 6 days-Sensor Tower said.
In last some days User registration on Signal app was at its Culmination. As,the Signal's server crashed and could not handle the requests for phone number verifications of new accounts.
