WhatsApp Make changes in Privacy Policy "As per policy they can share users data to Facebook". After that Government of India comes in action. Central Government said to Delhi High Court that WhatsApp is treating India users different then the European users, this is really matter of concern.
Central Government highlighted tow major points:
1. WhatsApp is treating India users different then the European users
2. Why there is there is unusual change in the privacy policy by the messaging platforms.
Government of India make this move to in Delhi High-count in front of Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva by Additional Solicitor General (ASG) Chetan Sharma during hearing of a petition by a lawyer against the new privacy policy of WhatsApp which is owned by Facebook.
On 18th of January court said that the WhatsApp is a private app and if you don't like the policy opt for different app.
As considering a serious matter Indian Government of India going to present a Personal Data Protection bill in Parliament. Government raised the concern of issue on Delhi High Count. On 1st March herring is there in Delhi High court.
The Government main casern is that policy shared for European will not share there data to Facebook, on other hand policy shared with Indian having clause that WhatsApp can share the user data with Facebook.
