In September,2020 GOI banned PUBG Mobile India along with the other 118 Chinese Apps on the grounds of National Security under section 69A of the Information Technology Act of 2000.
Since then PUBG Mobile desperately trying to make a come back of the game in the India Market and as per the latest news it looks like PUBG Mobile making a comeback in March,2021.
On Friday dated 08th Jan,2021 Government of India responds to certain RTI queries that has been filed by the Gem wires in December,2020. The responses are very interesting and it close all the misinformation that has been moving the social media.
There are speculation that PUBG Mobile/KRAFTON officials are requesting for a meeting with the Indian Government regarding the future of the game on which the Government of India spokesperson clarifies all the queries and told that there is no any official dialogue between the PUBG Mobile/KRAFTON and the Ministry of Information Technology. Thus, all the speculation of PUBG Mobile trying for a meeting with the Government is not true.
The Government also clarifies that playing the PUBG Mobile global version that is Korean is not illegal. Thus, gamers can play the global version with the Server restrictions.
