On 19th January, 2021 Qualcomm announces the launch of Snapdragon 870 chipset, and after an hour of that announcement Motorola confirmed the launch date of its Moto Edge S and it will be premiere with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset on 26th January this year. The testing of the device has been completed as it hinted on the Weibo by officials.
This new Qualcomm chipset Snapdragon 870 has the fastest clock speed as compare to any of its previous chipset at the present movement its has Kryo 585, running up to 3.2GHz. About the architecture of the chip set it build on TSMC's 7nm process and has 8 cores.
