The Market Researcher firm Counterpoint Research shared the results for the global smartphone market for Q4 2020 and the entire year 2020. Despite not getting the expected result from the sale of Galaxy S20 series, Samsung made it dominance in the global smartphone market. The number of units sale in 2020 drop to 255.7 million from 296.6 million last year sale. Its opposite Apple shipped 201.1 millions of its unit which is higher than the previous year 195.6 millions unit.
Despite not having Google Play Store on its phones, Huawei made a sale of 187.7 millions unit which followed by its country rivals Xiaomi, OPPO, Realme and Lenovo in the list of global smartphone market.
This numbers are now a indication that the market is coming back to its normal situation after the drastic loss because of the COVID.
