WhatsApp has chosen a time limit of seven days for messages to disappear in chats.

Step 1: Open WhatsApp

Step 2: Open the Individual chat

Step 3: Tap on the contact's name at the top.

Step 4: Select Disappearing Messages

Step 5: Tap Continue
