“Beginning October 13, 2020, we will change the retention policies for items in the Trash on Google Drive. With this new policy, any file that is placed in the Google Drive trash will be automatically deleted after 30 days,” Google said at the time.
The measure is meant to help Google Drive work more seamlessly with the other G Suite applications like Gmail.
Today is November 13, 2020 so Google Drive trash management is set to change starting tomorrow.
If you have got any notification from Google Drive for any file which moved to trash and you need those files for future use then you got 30 days from the notification day to get it restored before getting it deleted permanently.
